How does MatchB2B work?

E-bidding on MatchB2B is simple. Any member can post a Request for Bid (“RFB”) to advertise for a product, service, job or requirement that they need. Other members (ie. suppliers or service providers) can then search our Marketplace for open RFBs.  When they find a RFB of interest to them, they can simply place a bid on it. All bids are non-binding and the member who posted the RFB is free to contact any bidder to see if they wish to enter into an agreement with.  If the members want to enter into an agreement, they do so independently, and outside, of MatchB2B.

Should I become a Basic Member or Premium Member?

We offer two (2) types of memberships - Basic Membership and Premium Membership.  Most of our Basic Members are those who want to buy products or services and search our Marketplace and Members Directory.  As a Basic Member you can post RFBs in our Marketplace for FREE.  Most of our Premium Members are suppliers or service providers who want the additional ability to place bids on RFBs.

How must does it cost?

It is FREE to register as a Basic Member of MatchB2B. You can then access all of the benefits and privileges available to Basic Members (see below). We also offer subscription packages for those who wish to upgrade to become a Premium Member in order to place bids and access even more privileges:

There are no restrictions on the type of products or services that can be the subject of a RFB posted on MatchB2B (provided it is legal and in compliance with our policies - see Terms of Use. We aim to provide bidding opportunities for any type of product, service or freelance or consultancy work.

Are there geographical restrictions?

No. MatchB2B is global in its reach and you can use MatchB2B wherever you are located.

How do I match with other members in my industry?

When registering with MatchB2B, you choose industry categories for your Profile that match your areas of expertise or need. This means that you can search for members and view and post RFBs in specific industries.

No, all bids placed through MatchB2B are non-binding.

How do I enter into an agreement with another member?

Members cannot enter into an agreement with each on the MatchB2B website. Once a member places a bid, it is up to the buyer to get in contact with the bidder.  If the members decide they want to enter into an agreement with each other, they need to do so independently, and outside, of MatchB2B.

What is the role of MatchB2B?

MatchB2B is an independent and totally neutral forum. MatchB2B does not deal directly with members and cannot influence any transactions that take place between members. All information that you place on our website is held in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and other website policies.
